The work
We write. We develop. We produce. We acquire.
The work begins on the page — in scripts, treatments, manuscripts, and original IP — and reaches the screen with the collaborators best built to make it real.
Every project starts with a character worth following and a question worth asking. Everything else follows from there.
Across three pillars
Premium storytelling across three pillars — written and developed in-house, produced with the partners we trust.
Film
Original features and ambitious genre, made with collaborators who back vision over formula.
Television
Limited series and returning dramas, anchored by character and a clear creative center.
Literary
Books, articles, and original IP — written for the page and built for the screen.
Partnership
We're built to share the room. Plastic Pictures works alongside production companies, networks, streamers, studios, and showrunners — on the projects we're developing, the projects we're co-creating, and the literary properties we hold or acquire.
If you're a studio, producer, agent, manager, or fellow creator, we'd love to hear what you're working on.
Our mission
We make stories that entertain, resonate, and last. We see ourselves as long-term partners — to the writers and directors carrying the vision, the studios bringing it to scale, and the audiences ready for it.
The name
Plastic Pictures takes its name from two decades of Beau Dunn's artistic practice — a body of work that uses plastic, neon, and the iconography of consumer culture to interrogate the stories society tells itself.
The neon mark above is a direct extension of Dunn's Next Generation series; the company is a direct extension of her voice.
In her work, plastic is the material that holds the message. On film and television, the message is the material.
